UPAL is committed towards its corporate social responsibility towards the environment as well as its locality. It has created employment for numerous people in the surrounding villages. In addition it regularly conducts distribution of blankets every winter amongst all its direct and indirect labourers.

Recently, UPAL has contributed towards the building of a check dam in Jhansi for the purpose of water harvesting.

On the environment front, UPAL has undertaken the task of a complete solar installation in its manufacturing unit in Lucknow.
